This post column, The Scenic Route, was inspired by The Everygirl, Use Fancy Words blog posts. I thought that it was so clever, and I thought it would be neat to integrate something like this into my blog. Another reason for this column is that these are areas that I want to strengthen, like my vocabulary and appreciation of art. I also hope to pass my desire for more practical knowledge, brain power, spiritual strength, healthy living, and artistic appreciation on to all of you!
