[Food Stop] Family, Fashion, and Food!

Hi there!

Now I'm really excited because I have decided to talk about FOOD on my blog!  Since this is a life journey my shoes are taking me on, food is obviously a huge part of that.  I hope you all agree with me, and if not, well, don't read this segment...  No, just kidding. Of course I want you to read because you never know, you may find something you like!

This segment will feature anything food.  From restaurants to recipes and dinner parties to home meals, with beautiful pictures that I plan to take once I get that new camera my husband has promised me for my blog (so sweet!).  Food is not just about nourishment, it's about gathering and socializing with family and friends.

My parents and my niece are visiting from So Cal, so we decided to celebrate an early Mother's Day brunch with them at Paul Martin's American Bistro.
My mother's outfit - Sunglasses:  Coach, Dress:  Nine West, Bag:  Fossil, Shoes:  Anne Klein.  My outfit -  Sunglasses:  No name, Tunic worn as a dress:  Tolani, purchased at shop.navaeh.com, Braclet & Necklace:  Banana Republic, Bag:  Coach, Shoes:  Off Broadway.

The kids and I ran 3 miles in the morning and we didn't have brunch until past 11 o'clock, so I think I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures of our food!  Oh well, I just got photos from their website that were similar to what we all had ordered.
My husband, my daughters, and my niece ordered this and it was delicious (I had a taste!).
My son ordered the Cobb Salad and I ordered the Spinach Salad.
My parents ordered a Spinach Tomato Omelet, not a Crab Omelet.  But if this is appetizing to you, you need to visit Paul Martin's and order it!  They use local, fresh, organic food.
We went shopping at a local outdoor shopping mall after brunch.  My mom wanted a new mortar & pedestal because the mortar portion of her old one broke, so we went to "Sur la Table".

She said she was just browsing at Vera Bradley because she already had a bag from my sister.
My mom bought my niece and my youngest daughter something at Anthropologie since it was close to their birthdays. Lucky them!
Walking hand in hand by Whole Foods.
I hope you enjoyed this new segment about food.  Do you like brunch, and if you do, what is your favorite brunch item to order?  Do you prefer sweet or savory or both?  Leave any comments or suggestions you may have for me.  Thank you for visiting and being a part of my journey!

See you later!

Cheryl
