[Food Stop] Couples Night Out

Hi there!

Another Date Night three Friday nights in a row!  Well, it was really a Couples Night with four other couples at Crush 29 in Roseville.  It has the look and feel of dining in wine country, Napa Valley, especially in our private dining room complete with fireplace!
Half of the Crush 29 salad the hubby and I shared.
My sister-in-law ordered the Portabella Mushroom and Butternut Squash Risotto...my usual order, and it's my favorite!
Thought I'd try something different, so I ordered the Hawaiian Seared Ahi.
I finished off my husband's Braised Short Rib dish...was so tender and so good!
With 5 couples, we were able to get a sampling of all the desserts on the menu, minus one.  From back left: Caramel Cheesecake, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Banana Cream Pie, Chocolate Bomb, Vanilla Creme Brulee (peeking out at the end).
I rarely drink, but I had to try the Pomegranate Martini!
I have such stylish friends, all 40+ and looking lovely!  Here's a sample of some of the ladies' looks that evening.  Left:  Shirt - Halogen, Pants - Nordstrom, Shoes - Steve Madden, Right:  Watch - Michael Kors, Dress - Juicy Couture.
Come see my whole outfit here!  You can also see my hubby's manly style in this post here.

Sometimes it's nice to get away with other couples, even for just a night, especially if you have kids.  We had a great time just being ourselves and feeling like we could party like we were still in college (Well, not quite...we got home at eleven...but hey, most of us are usually in bed by ten!)

Do you try to go out on a regular basis with other couples?  Let me know because we all need special times with our friends!  Thank you for visiting and being a part of my journey!

See you later!

Cheryl
